Terms & Conditions

Booking & Advanced Reservations

Advance Payments:

All group classes, semi-private sessions, and private lessons must be reserved and paid for in advance through our official booking platform to guarantee a spot.

Waitlist Allocation:

If a 4-person class is fully booked, clients may join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, the next person on the list will automatically be added and notified via email/text. Clients are financially responsible for classes gained from the waitlist. Expirations: All standard class packs expire from date specified at checkout.

Strict 12 Hour & Late Cancellation Policy

Because our class sizes are strictly capped at 4 participants, late cancellations heavily affect studio operations and waitlisted clients.

Late Cancellation Window:

Clients must cancel their reservation at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time. Class Packs: Cancellations made within the 12-hour window, or failure to show up ("No Show"), will result in the immediate forfeiture of that class credit & potentially a fee.

Cancellation & No-Show Fees:

Because our studio capacity is strictly limited to 4 participants, late cancellations directly impact studio operations and waitlisted clients. Cancellations made outside of the standard 12-hour window are free of charge. Cancellations or failures to attend within 12 hours of class start time will incur the loss of the class credit for all package types, plus the following automated cash fees charged to the card on file:

No-Show Fee ($5):

Failing to attend a scheduled class without executing a cancellation in the Glofox app prior to the class start time will incur a $5 fee, plus loss of class credit.

Grip Socks

For your safety and the hygiene of our community, grip socks are mandatory for all classes and movement within the studio. Specialized non-slip socks keep your feet firmly planted on the apparatuses, preventing slips during high-intensity sequences. Because our Merrithew gear is shared across an intimate community, keeping feet covered ensures our upholstery stays completely pristine, clean, and hygienic for the next mover. Grip socks are available for purchase in the studio!

Punctuality Arrival Window

First-time clients must arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. Returning clients should arrive at least 5 minutes early. 10-Minute Safety Lockout: For client safety and to prevent class disruption, no late entry is permitted 10 minutes after class begins.

Health, Safety, & Medical Liability Waiver

Assumption of Risk:

By participating, clients acknowledge the inherent physical risks of fitness training and agree to release the studio, its instructors, and staff from any liability regarding injuries or illnesses.

Mandatory Disclosure:

Clients must complete a pre-exercise health screening form and disclose any and all injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, or pregnancy to the instructor before the session starts.

Not Medical Advice:

Advice given by studio instructors does not constitute professional medical diagnosis or treatment.

Contagious Illnesses:

Clients suffering from open cuts, infectious skin conditions, colds, or contagious illnesses are strictly prohibited from utilizing studio spaces.

Tactile Cueing & Physical Adjustments:

To ensure safety, proper form, and prevent injury, instructors may utilize physical touch ("tactile cueing") to adjust your alignment during class. By signing these terms, you consent to receiving hands-on adjustments. If you are uncomfortable with physical touch or prefer verbal-only cues for any reason, you must inform the instructor prior to the start of every class.

Prenatal Class Policy & Mandatory Transition:

For the safety of both parent and child, clients who are 10 weeks pregnant or further are no longer permitted to participate in regular, open-level group classes. To maintain your practice safely, pregnant clients are required to transition to Private (1-on-1) or Semi-Private (Duet) Prenatal Sessions. Clients must immediately notify the studio upon reaching 10 weeks of pregnancy. The studio reserves the right to deny group class entry to any client past this threshold, and standard late-cancellation policies will apply if advance notice was not given.

Studio Etiquette & Care of Apparatus

Required Footwear:

For optimal safety and sanitization, non-slip grip socks must be worn at all times on the Pilates equipment. Standard socks or bare feet are not permitted on the apparatus.

Hardware Protection:

Athletic clothing must be free of sharp zippers, rivets, or buttons, as these tear and puncture the vinyl apparatus upholstery. Personal Belongings: Phones must be entirely silenced and stored with personal belongings in designated cubbies. The studio is never responsible for lost or stolen items.

Sanitization:

Clients are expected to thoroughly wipe down their assigned reformer/tower/chair , handles, box, and props at the conclusion of class using the provided hygienic wipes.

Memberships, Billing, & Refunds

All Sales Final:

All individual drop-ins, class packages, and monthly memberships are completely non-refundable and non-transferable.

Price Modifications:

The studio reserves the right to alter service pricing, provided a 30-day electronic written notice is distributed to active clients.

Emergency Closures & Force Majeure:

The studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to dangerous weather conditions, utility outages, building maintenance issues, or government-mandated closures. If the studio cancels a class, your class credit will be fully restored to your Glofox account, but the studio is not liable for further client compensation or refunds.
